David Beckham Earnest Quest For World Cup 2010 With England
David Beckham, the 33 year-old former England Captain, is working hard to secure his place in the England squad. He is currently a player of LA Galaxy where the football season is on ‘holiday‘. Not being able to play football is something which the spice boy cannot afford to. Simply because if he wants to remain fit and keep playing good football, it is crucial that he plays in the right environment and with the right people.
How can he possibly do this when LA Football is currently off-season? As you might have heard, Beckham has been linked to a possible on-loan transfer to AC Milan. This deal has been confirmed, David Beckham will be playing alongside World Class Players like Kakka, Ronaldihno, Gattuso, Clarence Seedorf, Andrea Pirlo and Pippo Inzaghi. Will this Golden Opportunity reveal to be the key spice-up for the boy with Golden Boots?
LA Galaxy coach Bruce Arena, added:
- “Clearly I think this is an ideal situation for David. It can benefit David, it can benefit England, it can benefit the LA Galaxy and hopefully it benefits AC Milan as well.”
- “His reasons are to stay fit and to make himself available for England, the only way he can do that is to be training and playing in a good environment.”
- “I can’t speak for David, but what motivates any top-level footballer is the fact that playing for your national team is the greatest honour. Having the potential to play in another World Cup is every player’s dream.”
It’s indeed the earnest dream of David Beckham.. but.. will he still have the required potential to play in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa?
