Manchester United And Liverpool Honored By The Visit Of The Argentina Legend Diego Maradona

Last friday, 7th November, Argentina’s new coach/manager Maradona paid a visit to England’s Manchester United and Liverpool football clubs. The aim of this visit was to meet and discuss with Carlos Tevez (man utd’s forward) and Javier Mascherano (liverpool’s midfielder). And the visit was a success, everyone, including the players of both teams, was excited and pleased by the visit of the world’s magical and prolific player of all time, Diego Armando Maradona.

- “We were like schoolkids around a star coming to school”
- “In my eyes he is the best footballer ever. He is one of my heroes, if not the shining beacon when I was a kid. I had all his videos. He was the player everyone wanted to be”
- “He has been the best. He was my idol and part of the reason I started to play football. I can’t hold him in higher esteem than that. To be able to shake his hand, get a cuddle off him and a picture, it made my birthday.”
