What Is World Cup Rotation Policy?
FIFA adopted the famous rotation policy which allowed World Cup Football to take place only in the six world confederations, which were segmented into continents. This football association was named as FIFA Confederations Cup.
The 6 FIFA Confederation Cup Nations Are:
1) CONCACAF - Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football
2) CONMEBOL - South American Football Confederation
3) CAF - African Football Confederation
4) UEFA - Union of European Football Associations
5) AFC - Asian Football Confederation
6) OFC - Oceania Football Confederation

World Cup Rotation Policy Now Abandoned
But now FIFA has announced that they are dropping the rotation system. This is a tremendous news for every nations, since everyone can have the chance of bidding to host future World Cups. England is looking forward to winning its bid for the tournament in 2018 while Brasil should ‘obviously’ win the host nation for the 2014 football World Cup.
